Would you like to upload a video that would be useful for learners, but are in different languages than the rest of the course? Do you want to make your courses more approachable for learners with hearing disabilities? 

In the Samelane there is a possibility to add subtitles and closed captions to a video.

To do that it is necessary to click Subtitles & CC when adding Video content to a course and upload a VTT file.

Additionally, the administrator should specify a language of subtitles or closed captions and name it. The name of the file will be displayed in the video player. 

The administrator may add several files at once – with subtitles, closed captions in different languages. It recommended to name them accordingly, i.e. EN – Subtitles,  EN – CC, PL – Subtitles, etc.
